The Energy to Lead

On Friday evening, 12SE14 a very special event occurred at the Skyline Club in Southfield Michigan. It was the official launch of my book "The Energy to Lead, the Thermodynamics of Leadership". The event was attended by many of the members of past leadership training small groups such as The ARMY, The College, The Knights and Team Apollo. Also in attendance were special guests such as Wes and Claudia Dupin, Dr. Keith Christmon and Roy and Pegeen Link. My son Justin surprised me by flying in from California and my daughter Jamie and her husband Blayne came in from Grand Rapids and my Daughter Jenna and her friend James drove in from East Lansing, (Go Green !).

Justin kicked off the evening with an introduction and warm welcoming. He introduced Wes Dupin who started the evening with an invocation and description of my book, which he graciously wrote the forward to.

I then had the opportunity to describe how the book came to be, and a brief description of the content. The evening concluded with books being signed and given to all the great friends and acquaintances in attendance.

For me this was a very special occasion. Not only was it a celebration of a life goal of writing a book, but more importantly to be back with such tremendous friends and allys again. It was indeed a special evening for me and one I will remember fondly always.

Again, many thanks to my daughter-in-law Elle for making the book actually transform from a manuscript to a printed book and for acting as my agent in planning and executing the book signing event. She indeed has demonstrated what stellar leadership looks like.

A few of the pictures capturing the evening are attached below. Again, to all that attended, from the bottom of my heart, thank you.

Stay Strong,

Terry
